In the past, Mexico's democratic process
has been tarnished by election fraud. The recent election results have
compelled thousands of Mexicans to take to the streets to protest the
Enrique Peña Nieto victory. Nieto, a member of the Partido
Revolucionario Institucional party, is being accused of rigging the
election where he won 38.2 percent of the vote. The protesters are
alleging the PRI party bought people's votes and John Ackerman, a
professor at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, joins us with his
take on the march.
