past weekend, the people of Mexico went to the polls to cast their vote
and as of now Enrique Peña Nieto is being declared the winner of the
election. Nieto currently has 38 percent of the vote. After 12 years,
the Partido Revolucionario Institucional party has regained its place as
the ruling party of the country, but many fear that the history of
corruption within the party will rear its ugly head. John
Ackerman,professor at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, joins us
with his take.
